Marciano Estate represents, quite simply, the best wine that we produce each vintage. It took us years to get here. Years of experimenting, getting to know the land, the geology, the soils. Of letting the vineyard mature and understanding the vines and through them, how the site expresses itself. Produced in quantities dictated solely by quality, Marciano Estate represents years of striving for what can only be called a beautiful expression of a singular vineyard.
2014 Marciano Estate bursts from the glass, boasting aromas of blackberries, black currant, juniper berry, black olive, and espresso. Presenting with a soft, restrained entry on the palate, it builds gently and elegantly to a firm, lengthy mid-palate, laden with a
symphony of well-integrated oak tannins that carry layers of bold, savory flavors through an extensive finish. This refined, masculine wine was born for longevity.

Massiglia is the ancient name for the town of Marseille in France, where I grew up. This wine captures the strength and character of our estate vineyard, with the rich flavors and supple structure that make it appealing immediately upon release.
Aromatically, the 2014 Massiglia is vivid and complex. Deep layers of cocoa, sage, blueberries, cherries, cedar, and baking spice are permeated by floral, earthy nuance. On the palate, a fresh, luscious attack builds to
a complex mid-palate exhibiting silky tannins and soft texture. Notes of black currant, strawberry compote, and mocha carry into a lingering finish that leaves you craving more.
71% Cabernet Sauvignon
29% Cabernet Franc
The latest offering of our estate white wine is the product of one of the driest growing seasons in California history. Our yields with the white wines were very low, and the juice we obtained was definitely the brightest, most intense we have tasted since we started this project. During fermentation, we were careful to preserve the freshness and intensity of the juice. Malolactic fermentation was inhibited, and every effort was made to protect the young wine from oxidation.
Barrel fermented in a combination of 25% new French oak barrels, 25% stainless steel barrels, and 50% neutral oak barrels, the final blend retains the notes of citrus rind, meyer lemon, key lime, and subtle tropical fruits. Barrel aging has helped to round the corners, and also added a hint of toast and matchstick to the aromas. We feel this vintage shows the heights to which this variety can reach when grown in such a special terroir.

Meaning “land of gratitude” in Latin, the name of this wine reflects my appreciation for the land that is my home. Terra Gratia is made in those rare and special vintages when we enjoy both extremely high quality and a generous crop.
The 2014 Terra Gratia greets the nose with notes of fresh, ripe black fruit, subtle black licorice, and vanilla oak. On the palate, the wine opens up with a soft attack, layered with vibrant, fruit driven acidity red
plum, and toasted coconut. The soft mid-palate gives way to a finessed, lengthy finish sustained by youthful tannins that ensure ageability.
37% Cabernet Sauvignon
18% Cabernet Franc
9% Petit Verdot
This wine is estate grown, hand picked, sorted and slowly fermented under strict kosher supervision to produce a non meshuval wine. After fermentation, it is delicately barrel aged for 18 months in 60% new French oak, then and bottle aged for an additional year allowing the wine to mature.
At first glance, the wine boasts an intense deep red color. The wine is aromatically rich and complex, expressing beautiful aromas of ripe black berries, black
currant, flint, vanilla toast, and leather.
The palate is greeted with soft, silky tannins, transforming into a rich round, elegant mid-palate, bursting with flavors of chocolate, cedar, and ripe blackberries, culminating in a long, dry finish laced with firm, yet smooth tannins. The wine is well balanced and integrated now, but has the potential to age for 20 years or more.

2016 was another exceptional vintage by all standards, with an almost perfect growing season with adequate winter and spring precipitation, very few heat spikes, and ideal onset of fall rains. Our winemaking philosophy and style allows us to pick our Sauvignon Blanc at its optimum ripeness. Capturing the freshness of the fruit while allowing beautiful floral and tropical notes to express themselves.
Our brand new 2016 Estate White is a Layered 100% Sauvignon Blanc, comprised of 35% New French Oak, 52% Neutral French Oak, and 13% stainless steel.
This complex white is aged 9 months sur lees, yielding an aromatically intense wine. Like a classic white Bordeaux,
this wine is elegant and floral, with notes of citrus blossom, pear, and fresh white peach, that develop into generous aromas of lemon curd, pineapple, and fresh passion fruit. On the palate, the wine has a clean freshness that evolves into a pleasingly fleshy mouth feel leaving you with a long, grippy finish. This wine is immediately appealing and will age gracefully for years to come.
